Phil serves with Partners International (PI) as the Director of International Development. Coming alongside numerous non-Western ministries in the least Christian regions of the world, he seeks to provide them with catalytic training resources. While Phil often does some of this training himself, he also connects training ministries that give away their expertise to indigenous organizations. As a result, PI's overseas partners are becoming more proficient in outreach and the development of community, leadership and organization. Phil has ministered in 65 countries.
